Day 7 - 01/10/2010
The sunset
I was walking from my house to a friend's for dinner* and the sunset was just phenomenal. It had downpoured pretty spectacularly for an hour before this [causing, unspectacularly a realisation that the drains may be blocked and three inches of gross in our yard. Luckily its all sorted now] and the sky looked as though it had just been washed out ready for the sun. Given that I was walking away from the sunset I still took about 10 pictures and turned round every 30 seconds just to gasp.
Day 8 - 02/10/2010
A corsage
This was made for me by my host at dinner last night as a favour. Yet more proof (if I needed it!) that that girl is a very clever stick indeed.
Day 9 - 03/10/2010
Brunch
Leftover vegetables and spaghetti soup = my favourite kind. This is just the sort of thing you want to eat when its drizzly, a little bit cold, and a little bit too wintry outside!

*Dinner was: Baba Ganoush and flat breads, Lamb Tagine and Couscous, White Chocolate and Mint Mousse [divine!] and Chocolate covered Turkish Delight with Mint Tea
